The play is based on the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen's work John Gabriel Borkman and had its premiere in South Korea in 2024. It was supported by the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The protagonist, John, was once a successful banker but fell from grace due to corruption and now isolates himself in his home, clinging to the glory of his past. The stage visuals portrayed John's isolated life and his obsession with past achievements through the background seen beyond the window.
