 R;LINK is a musical that places the contrasting images of war and ice hockey within a single stage language, revealing cultural connection and historical memory at the same time. From a stage video design perspective, the media language supports the production’s multilingual structure through projected surtitles and visual information delivery, helping shape the rhythm of scenes where different languages and cultures intersect. In dialogue with the broader theatrical concept that parallels the hockey rink and the battlefield, the video design functions as a visual layer that strengthens emotional transitions and scene-to-scene continuity. Based on publicly available materials, the key takeaway is that the media design operated not as a secondary effect, but as a central design element supporting the work’s legibility, international scope, and historical resonance.
